Riedt-Neerach

I'm finally back online and able to post! I'll post quite a few...so take your time!! Our little village, which is just a few homes , old and new, apartment buildings, a barn scattered here and there and a hair salon (They speak enough English to get a haircut!!) is a ten minute walk to the larger village of Neerach, which has the post office, small grocery store (think size of a gas station "mini-mart,") bakery, pizzeria, furniture store and a bike stop. This house, down the street from us indicates that it was built in 1808! What we have really appreciated is that even the new apartment buildings across the street have maintained the look of this type of architecture. It makes for a very quaint town, which is pictured on the left. You may want to click on it to get an enlarged view. For those of you who have been to Lima, Riedt is smaller.
