Prostrate
Last Sunday we enjoyed an extended family meal, this time to celebrate one of our wonderful daughters-in-love's birthday. If you read my last post, you may remember that Shep is in a stage where he is frequently the first one who volunteers to pray any time the question is asked, "Who would like to pray?" Only this time, he did something that I had never seen before, but was not unusual according to his immediate family. He got flat on his face on the floor and prayed. He thanked God that he could come to our house and eat. First it was just that he could come to "Papa's house," but when he thanked the Lord for the food, he included me in his thanksgiving. Guess he's figured out who makes the dinner. 😅 His great-grandmother was present and he thanked the Lord for Mimi and thanked God that Pipi was in heaven.
